Charles Miller Obituary

Miller, Charles Terry
NISKAYUNA - Charles "Terry" Miller, 72, passed away peacefully in his Niskayuna, N.Y. home on January 3, 2024, after a period of declining health. Terry was born on June 26, 1951, son of the late Charles J. Miller and Virginia (Holland) Miller. Growing up, Terry was adventurous and had many interests, including: camping, skiing, wrestling, serving as a Boy Scout, and spending the summers with relatives in Little Falls, N.Y. He graduated from Linton High School in 1969.
Terry married his wife, Angela (Pallotolo) on October 7, 1972, with whom he was inseparable. He worked at General Electric in Schenectady prior to taking a short break to help raise his young children. He then continued his career at the Schenectady City School District, where he wore many hats, but, most importantly, he made a positive impact on children.
He loved the Adirondacks, especially the St. Lawrence Seaway, and enjoyed many summers camping there with his family and their beloved dogs, Brandy and Shiloh. Terry was a great father who was especially proud of his children and their many accomplishments. Throughout the years, you would find him and Angel at his daughter's cross–country meets or his son's wrestling tournaments. His unwavering support meant the world to his children, and they are grateful for all he did.
Terry made friends everywhere he went. His sense of humor and infectious personality allowed him to build strong and lasting friendships.
In addition to his devoted wife of 51 years, Terry is survived by his children, Shaun (Lea) Miller and grandson, Christian of Mechanicville, N.Y.; and Sarah (Patrick) McPartlon and granddaughter, Reese of Niskayuna, N.Y. Terry is also survived by his sister, Marcia (Wayne) Griffith; brother-in-law, James A. (Kathy) Pallotolo, Jr.; sisters-in-law, Diane Lezzi, Joanne Schillaci (Michael Zuglan), Cathy Pallotolo (the late Michael), and Vera (George) Salamone; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Terry's family extends their deepest gratitude to the caregivers at Kingsway Home Care (Jasmine) and Community Hospice for their compassionate support. Services will be private. Memorial donations in Terry's name can be made to Journeymen Wrestling Club, Ltd., a N.Y. State 501(c)(3) (753 Tanner Road, Clifton Park, N.Y.).
